  1. Recently, someone posted either here or on the LightWave newsgroup with a
  2. PVR problem. It seems that on his Alpha system, the PVR refused to import
  3. frames as superblack. I now have the same problem.

  5. This evening, one of my two Alpha machines died. Since it happened to be the
  6. one with all my important data, I pulled its system drive and installed it
  7. in the working machine. This also meant I had to re-install the PVR
  8. software, as the broken system never had a PVR in it. Suddenly, the
  9. superblack option no longer works! Yet it always did before. I located the
  10. line in the PVR's .INI file that controls this, and it reads "Setup=0" when
  11. the Superblack option is turned on. But it has no effect. The odd thing is,
  12. frames I imported before the system swap still come up with zero black. This
  13. then would appear to be an import problem, but I don't know how to fix it.
